  • For each bedroom in your home, you should also choose two appropriate sets. Overall, for each set of bedding, including yours, you should register for at least one extra set of coordinated pillowcases.
  • Also register for duvet covers selecting at least two options for every bed in your new home.
  • Consider adding accents such as decorative pillow shams; decorative European shams, which are slightly larger than the standard size ones; a duvet cover; and a bed skirt for a finished look.
  • Register for cashmere bed blankets and throws. They are the epitome of luxury and warmth. They serve multiple uses, not only on the bed.
  • Consider a Matelassé bed cover, which is very similar to a quilt. It is usually made of cotton and can be used as a decorative accent to your bed, or as a light cover in warmer weather.
